Job summary

Hagerty Consulting, Inc. is seeking Emergency Management Specialists to join our Response Cadre on an on-call basis. Candidates must be available to deploy within 24 to 72 hours and stay on-site for at least 30 days anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities include coordinating with agencies and ESFs, producing leadership-ready summaries, and researching complex issues for deployment missions. This is not a full-time staff position; look for Hagerty’s other postings for ongoing roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• At least five years of professional emergency management experience.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts as needed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• NIMS ICS All-Hazards training courses or credentials.

Responsibilities

• Operate as part of Hagerty’s Response Cadre to support client incident objectives.
• Be on-call to deploy within 24 to 72 hours and remain deployed for at least 30 days.
• Coordinate with multiple agencies and ESFs during activations.
• Prepare leadership-ready summary products and issue briefs.
• Research complex issues and present outcomes to supervisors or audiences.
• Maintain composure under pressure while handling multiple priorities.
