Hagerty Consulting, Inc. (Hagerty) is the nation’s leading emergency management and homeland security consulting firm. We seek Senior Emergency Management Planners for on-site responses on a roster-based contract deployment.

Candidates must be on-call 24–72 hours and able to deploy for 30 days across the United States. Responsibilities include ICS-based planning support, liaison with ESFs, data research, and delivering client-ready plans and reports.

Qualifications

• At least five (5) years of professional experience in emergency management or a related field.
• Willing and able to be on-call for travel within 24 to 72 hours of notice and to remain deployed for at least 30 days anywhere in the United States.
• A Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication with a focus on plans, procedures, and deliverables.
• Flexibility, integrity, teamwork, and commitment to excellence in all endeavors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
• The ability to work 12-hour shifts as needed based on the client’s tempo.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an advisor in the Planning Section of a client environment utilizing the Incident Command System (ICS).
• Act as a point of contact with partner agencies and Emergency Support Functions (ESFs) to collaborate on planning initiatives.
• Researching, tracking data, and creating reports for client leadership responsible for mission-critical decision making.
• Provide administrative support and/or perform additional tasking in other disciplines as needed, such as coordinating with logistics and operations staff to ensure mission success.
• Develop plans, procedures, and other deliverables for clients.
• Coach and mentor junior-level staff at Hagerty while deployed on client missions as directed by Hagerty Consulting leadership.
