Job summary

Hagerty Consulting Inc is seeking Emergency Management Planners for its Response Cadre to support state and local governments during disasters. The on‑call team may deploy to EOC sites or field environments with 24–72 hour travel notices, for at least 30 days, anywhere in the United States.

The position involves advisory work in ICS, data research and reporting, and coordination with ESFs and partner agencies, with a $50,000–$110,000 salary range and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• At least three (3) years of professional experience in emergency management or related field.
• Understanding of NIMS/ICS and multi-agency coordination.
• Willing to deploy within 24–72 hours and stay for at least 30 days anywhere in the United States.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts as required by client tempo.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication for plans and procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an advisor in a government client environment using ICS.
• Research, track data, and create client reports for decision making.
• Provide administrative support and take meeting notes during briefings.
• Coordinate with logistics and operations staff to ensure mission success.
• Support incident objectives and coordinate with partner agencies and ESFs.
