Job summary

Hagerty Consulting, Inc. is seeking Emergency Management Planners for its Response Cadre to support state and local governments during disasters.

These contract‑based deployments may last a minimum of 30 days and require deployment within 24 to 72 hours of travel notice across the United States. Ideal candidates have at least three years of emergency management experience, strong ICS/NIMS knowledge, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Willing to be on-call with travel within 24–72 hours of notice.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts as needed.
• Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an advisor in the Planning Section in a government client environment using ICS.
• Researching, tracking data, and creating reports for clients responsible for decision making.
• Provide administrative support and/or perform additional tasking in non‑planning disciplines as needed, such as taking meeting notes during situation briefings.
• Coordinate with logistics and operations staff to ensure mission success.
• Support the successful completion of client incident objectives and coordinate with various partner agencies.
