Job summary

• RN license in the state of employment or a compact license; BLS, ACLS, TNCC (TX/NM only), PALS within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process with assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administers medications and treatments per protocol; monitors side effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication and care provided; coordinates care with team.
• Addresses psychosocial, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
