Job summary

UCHealth UCHth Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, CO seeks an Emergency Room professional to provide emergent/urgent patient care under direction of physicians and nurses. This on-site, full-time role offers day shifts with a pay range of $18.40–$27.60 per hour and is 72 hours per pay period.

Responsibilities include IV access, wound care, telemetry monitoring, and assisting in procedures. Requirements: EMT license with IV certification or EMT-I and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current State Licensure as an EMT with IV certification, or EMT-I.
• BLS through AHA or ARC with card in-hand before start date. BLS/CPR valid through 60 days after hire. Renewals issued by AHA.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical procedures as delegated, including IV access, specimen collection, wound care, and patient transport.
• Assists physicians and nurses with examinations, minor surgery, orthopedic treatment, and resuscitation.
• Reports abnormal findings or changes to medical/nursing staff.
• Assists with patient flow and keeping rooms clean and stocked.
• Works with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
