The UCHealth UCHlth Longs Peak Hospital in Longmont, CO, is seeking an emergency medical professional for the LPH ER as a PRN, on-site role with a flex shift. The position pays $24.11–$36.17 per hour, depending on experience and credentials.

The role provides emergent/urgent patient care under physicians, PAs, and RNs, performing IVs, specimen collection, wound care, ECGs, and telemetry as assigned, while maintaining high standards of patient flow and room readiness.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• ACLS and BLS Healthcare Provider certifications required.
• Current State EMT-P license required.
• Minimum experience: None required.

Responsabilités

• Provide emergent/urgent patient care under the direction of a physician, physician's assistant, and/or registered nurse.
• Establish IV access, collect specimens, provide wound care, and transport patients. May perform ECGs and vital statistics/telemetry monitoring.
• Assist physicians and nurses with examinations, minor surgical interventions, orthopedic treatment, and resuscitation.
• Report abnormal assessment findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to medical/nursing staff.
• Assist with patient flow and keeping patient rooms clean, stocked, and orderly.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
