Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• Current State Licensure as an EMT with IV certification, or EMT-I, required.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross with current card at start date.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical procedures as delegated, including establishing IV access, collecting specimens, wound care, and transporting patients.
• Assists physicians and nurses with medical procedures, examinations, minor surgical interventions, orthopedic treatments, and resuscitation.
• Reports abnormal assessment findings to medical/nursing staff and supports patient flow and room readiness.
