UCHealth Estes Valley Medical Center in Estes Park, CO seeks an EMS professional to respond to emergency calls and provide patient care. This onsite, part-time role (48 hours per pay period) works a flex shift and is paid hourly.

You will drive/navigate the ambulance, stabilize patients, and relay observations to the medical team. Requires EMT licensure, BLS, HS diploma, and National Registry within 1 year; IV course is required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• National certification as determined at position level.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• Current State Licensure as an EMT.
• Valid Driver's License.
• National Registry EMT certification within 1 year of hire.
• IV course completion certificate required upon hire.
• BLS/CPR card through AHA or Red Cross; valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsabilités

• Responds to emergency calls and provides patient care as directed.
• Navigates and drives ambulance to scenes and treatment centers.
• Stabilizes patients, requests additional assistance when needed.
• Determines illness/injury, administers care within scope up to facility handoff.
• Communicates observations to medical personnel and documents actions.
