Job summary

UCHealth Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, CO is seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department on the night shift. This full-time, onsite role offers a 72-hour pay period and a competitive hourly pay range.

Responsibilities include direct patient care using the nursing process, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and staying current with evidence-based practice. Required licensure, RN degree, and 6 months of RN experience; ACLS/NIHSS/ENPC or PALS/TNCC may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program and state RN licensure.
• 6 months RN experience required.
• ACLS preferred at time of hire or within 6 months; NIHSS within 6 months; ENPC or PALS within 6 months; TNCC or ATCN within 1 year.
• BLS – valid through start date and 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes and ensure quality care.
• Model/provide precepting for new staff and learners.
• Maintain focus on wellness, patient-centered care and evidence-based practice.
