The Howell County Sheriff's Office in Missouri is seeking a full-time Dispatch position. You will handle incoming telephone and radio calls, monitor alarms, and relay critical information to responders.

Responsibilities include entering data into the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system, following standardized procedures, and dispatching law enforcement vehicles by radio. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, pass a drug test and background check, obtain MULES certification, and

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Pass a drug test and background check.
• Possess or be able to obtain MULES Certification.
• 3-6 months of full-time related experience.

Responsabilités

• Plans, organizes and performs work according to standardized procedures.
• Receives telephone, radio calls and mechanical alarm signals for law enforcement, fire or medical emergency services.
• Enters and receives information into Computer Aided Dispatch System (CAD).
• Dispatches law enforcement vehicles by radio, receives and transmits orders and instructions using appropriate code language to law enforcement at the scene of an emergency.
