Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires graduation from general/technical high school or equivalent.
• Additional college courses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and evaluate incoming calls to determine urgency and dispatch appropriate units.
• Gather information and prioritize calls, log and document calls for service.
• Enter calls for service data into the CAD system and monitor multiple radio channels and lines.
• Maintain knowledge of emergency communication equipment operations and county geography.
• May assist with in-house training and document sharing with other divisions.
