Qualifications

• Minimum: High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of relevant experience.
• Licensure/certification can substitute education/experience where applicable.
• Experience in emergency dispatch or high-volume healthcare transfer/dispatch operations is required.
• Ability to remain calm and decisive during life-safety emergencies.
• Proficiency navigating CAD, phone queues, telemetry/paging, and EHR systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with clear instruction delivery.
• Strictly follow safety protocols, HIPAA, and SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch emergency communications across 13 hospital locations with high accuracy.
• Monitor life-safety alarms and trigger emergency procedures during incidents.
• Coordinate multi-specialty on-call schedules with nurses and providers.
• Deliver real-time patient, staff, and department data to clinical teams.
• Maintain operational documentation and contact schedules for departments.
