Job summary

Responsibilities include scheduling non-emergency transports, gathering insurance information, and utilizing CAD for dispatch and mapping. CPR is required; EMT background is preferred, and staff meeting participation is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have CPR certification and maintain CPR for the professional Rescuer.
• EMT certification or medical terminology or similar medical background preferred.
• Must attend communications staff meetings as requested.

Responsibilities

• Operate communication equipment to receive incoming calls for assistance and dispatch personnel/equipment.
• Schedule non-emergency transports for ambulance and wheelchair divisions.
• Obtain information to facilitate insurance or payment processes; perform map street search using CAD.
