Mercy South Emergency Department seeks a skilled registered nurse to support operations and patient care across shifts. The role includes acting as a clinical resource for staff and patients and stepping in as a staff nurse when needed. Managerial duties may be delegated by a supervisor.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active RN license (state or compact). BLS certification or completion within 30 days is required, with 2 years of patient care experience

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within 30 days of hire.
• At least 2 years of patient care experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the operations and patient care.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed.
• Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager.
