Job summary

Mercy South Emergency Department in Missouri is seeking a registered nurse to assist in planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating patient care in designated areas. You will serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients and may function as a staff nurse as needed.

Managerial duties may be delegated by a supervisor. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in Missouri (or compact), and BLS certification or completion within 30 days

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in Missouri or a multistate compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Function as staff nurse in the department as needed.
• Assume managerial duties delegated by a manager.
