Job summary

Mercy South Emergency Department in St. Louis, Missouri, is seeking a capable nurse to assist in planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating operations and patient care in designated areas.

As needed, you may serve as a staff nurse and assume manager duties delegated by an administrator. The role requires an accredited nursing program graduate, RN license, BLS, and at least two years of patient care experience. The department offers comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• RN license required and maintained in state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within 30 days of hire.
• 2 years of experience in patient care required.
• Supervisor experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Function as staff nurse in the department as needed and assist with managerial duties delegated by a manager.
