Job summary

Mercy South Emergency Department is seeking an experienced nurse to assist in planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating patient care across designated areas. You will serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients, and you may function as a staff nurse as needed, with managerial duties delegated by a supervisor.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, RN licensure (state or compact), BLS certification (or completion within 30 days), and at least 2

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the hiring state and/or compact licensure requirements.
• BLS certification or successful completion within 30 days of hire.
• 2 years' experience in patient care is required.
• Supervisor experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed and assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager.
• Perform duties in alignment with Mercy mission, values and Service Standards.
