Job summary

Mercy South Emergency Department is seeking an experienced registered nurse to assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care. The role includes serving as a clinical resource for staff and patients, and performing duties as a staff nurse with potential managerial responsibilities.

The position is in a Level II Trauma, Level I Stroke and STEMI designated ED in St. Louis, MO with multiple shifts available.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• 2 years' experience in patient care is required.
• RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Perform duties as a staff nurse in the department as needed and assume delegated managerial duties.
• Operate in alignment with Mercy Service Standards and mission.
