Mercy South Emergency Department in St. Louis, MO is hiring for a staff nurse with responsibilities across planning, coordination and evaluation of patient care in designated areas.

The role may include acting as a clinical resource, and performing staff nurse duties as needed, with managerial tasks delegated by a supervisor. We offer a 16 week nurse residency, shift differentials, education assistance programs including loan forgiveness, and comprehensive insurance benefits.

Qualifications

• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure required.
• BLS certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• 2 years of patient care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in the department.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients.
• Perform duties as staff nurse as needed and assume delegated managerial duties.
