Mercy South Emergency Department in St. Louis, MO seeks an experienced nurse to assist in planning, coordinating and evaluating patient care, and to serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients. The role may involve acting as a staff nurse as needed and taking on Managerial duties where delegated.

Requirements include a nursing degree from an accredited program, current RN licensure (state and/or compact), and BLS certification. Two years of patient care experience is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Assists in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed.
• Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager.
