Job summary

Mercy South Emergency Department in St. Louis, MO seeks an experienced RN to support planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of patient care.

You will act as a clinical resource, serve as a staff nurse when needed, and take on managerially delegated duties to support the team. Requirements include an active RN license in Missouri or compact licensure, BLS (within 30 days of hire), and at least two years of patient care experience.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• BLS certification or successful completion within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 2 years of patient care experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as staff nurse in the department as needed.
• Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager.
