Job summary

Sierra Medical Center in Nevada is seeking a part-time Emergency Department Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of ED experience. This role includes direct patient care in a fast-paced ED, with a focus on rapid assessment and effective communication with the care team.

Qualifications

• 2 years ED experience required.
• Current RN license within the state of practice.
• Current BCLS Certification.
• ACLS Certification within six months of hire.
• PALS within six months of hire.
• ENPC and TNCC optional.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in the ED and evaluates patient outcomes.
• Performs head-to-toe assessments across age groups.
• Manages pain assessment and education for patients and families.
• Utilizes triage processes to ensure timely, appropriate care.
