Job summary

Dartmouth Health's Emergency Department in Lebanon, NH is seeking a FT Emergency Department Technician to support patient care in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment. The role requires rotating day/night shifts 7a-7p and 7p-7a across seven days, collaborating with RNs, LPNs, and other team members.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, vital signs, EKGs, specimen collection, applying splints, maintaining a clean and safe unit, and supporting patients and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a chaotic, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs, collect vital signs and EKGs under RN supervision.
• Apply splints and immobilizers; remove IVs after competencies.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and restock rooms/equipment.
• Assist visitors, volunteers, and family members.
• Monitor patients requiring close observation and assist with safety.
