Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care activities under RN supervision, including ADLs, vital signs, EKGs, specimen collection, and data entry.
• Apply splints and immobilizers; remove IVs after competencies.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and restock rooms and equipment.
• Assist visitors, volunteers, and patient families; mentor new coworkers.
• Monitor patients requiring close observation and manage health information in EMR.
• Perform clerical tasks and prioritize critical communications during high-stress periods.
