Job summary

Wellstar Kennestone Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department night shift (7pm–7am). This full-time role requires delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ED setting. You will assess, triage, treat and collaborate with physicians and teams to optimize patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in Georgia (or compact) with BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications, and a strong commitment to evidence-based practice and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or diploma in nursing; Bachelors preferred.
• Current Nursing license in Georgia or compact state preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications required per hospital policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation.
• Provide patient-centered care respecting age, culture and disease-specific needs.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and families to meet patient goals.
• Practice according to current clinical standards and evidence-based guidelines.
• Document care accurately and communicate clearly with team.
