Job summary

Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on the FT Nights shift (7pm-7am). The RN will be part of an interdisciplinary team delivering high-quality, safe patient care within Wellstar’s governance and practice models.

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
• RN - Registered Nurse licensure (Single State) or RN-COMPACT
• BLs/ACLS/PALS/TNCC certifications required upon hire as listed in job description
• Minimum 5 years RN experience required

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process with evidence-based practice and outcomes-focused planning.
• Provides relationship-based, patient-centered care reflecting cultural diversity.
• Partners with patient and family using bedside shift reports and interdisciplinary rounds.
• Practices using current clinical practice standards.
• Coordinates delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care through interdisciplinary communication.
• Supports performance improvement and shared governance across levels of the system.
