Job summary

Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department night shift (7pm–7am). This FT role emphasizes compassionate, evidence-based practice and safe, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participate in performance improvement, and mentor newer staff while upholding Wellstar's standards and policies. Experience in ED preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing or diploma in nursing, or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Current RN license eligible to practice in Georgia
• BLS certification required; PALS, TNCC, ACLS certifications preferred or required upon hire

Responsibilities

• Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation) with evidence-based care
• Provide patient-centered care tailored to age, gender, disease, and culture
• Collaborate with care team through interdisciplinary rounds, documentation, and teaching
• Engage in performance improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives
