Job summary

Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department, night shift (7pm–7am). You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and collaborate with a diverse care team in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, ensuring safety and cultural sensitivity, and participating in rounds and bedside reports to align patient goals with the plan of care.

Qualifications

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment; diagnosis; outcomes; planning; implementation and evaluation) using evidence-based practice.
• Provides relationship-based patient-centered care reflecting cultural diversity.
• Partners with patient and significant others using bedside shift report and interdisciplinary rounds.
• Practices using current clinical practice standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care across the care continuum.
• Demonstrates teamwork and collaboration with fiscal responsibility and staff retention.
• Participates in performance improvement and supports shared governance at multiple levels.
