Job summary

Wellstar Kennestone Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department night shift (WKD FT Nights) from 7pm to 7am. The role emphasizes exemplary practice, patient-centered care, and strong teamwork within a high-energy ED setting in Georgia.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license with BLS and relevant certifications (PALS, TNCC, ACLS). Prior ED experience preferred; associates or diploma in nursing with a bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or diploma in nursing, bachelor's preferred.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the United States.
• Certification in BLS is required; additional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform the Nursing Process with assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide patient-centered care reflecting cultural diversity and individual needs.
• Coordinate care through interdisciplinary collaboration and effective communication.
• Document care and participate in performance improvement and evidence-based practice.
