Job summary

Atrium Health Stanly Emergency Department in Albemarle, NC is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for our full-time night shift (7p–7a). You’ll provide and coordinate patient care in a high‑acuity ED, applying evidence-based practice and compassionate communication.

Requirements include nursing program completion, an active RN license in North Carolina, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and 6 months of RN experience; inpatient exp preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• At least 6 months of RN experience; not for new graduates.
• RN license issued by the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of inpatient RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with standards and procedures.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
