Job summary

Atrium Health Stanly’s Emergency Department is hiring an RN with at least 6 months of RN experience to provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced setting. The role supports 24/7 emergency services for Stanly County and communities, with opportunities for growth and professional development.

The position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in the state, and BLS; ACLS is required within 6 months of hire. Inpatient RN experience is preferred."

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of inpatient RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care following established standards and procedures.
• Apply evidence-based practice and clinical judgment to ensure patient safety.
• Communicate effectively to support patient and family understanding.
• Promote a culture of safety and quality improvement.
• May float to other units within the service area as needed.
