Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, NC is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. The role offers a 7:00 PM–7:00 AM night shift, full-time status, and a chance to contribute to a Magnet-accredited ED with an emphasis on safety, quality, and patient care.

Qualifications

• RN experience required or strongly preferred.
• 1 year of acute care experience preferred.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status.
• Collaborate with ED team to ensure safe, efficient patient flow.
• Document care in the electronic medical record and coordinate with other departments.
