Job summary

Atrium Health Stanly Emergency Department is hiring a Part-Time Registered Nurse for night shifts, providing 24/7 emergency care to Stanly County and surrounding communities. The ED offers a collaborative team of board-certified emergency physicians and experienced nursing staff to deliver high-quality urgent care.

The role requires completion of an accredited nursing program, NC RN license, and BLS; ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience (not for new grads).
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state where practicing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year of inpatient RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Lead efforts to create a safe patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
