Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital is seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse. The role requires timely assessments, comprehensive patient evaluation, and documentation of physical, cognitive, and social needs for diverse patient populations.

Requirements include 1 year of Emergency or Critical Care experience, California RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. NIHSS and CPI within specified timelines are expected.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification/competency within the first week of hire.
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire; CEN encouraged.

Responsibilities

• RN–Emergency Dept. performs assessments appropriate to the patient’s presentation, care setting, age and cultural orientation in a timely manner.
• Performs assessments completely and accurately including physical, psychological and social needs.
