Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital in Temecula, CA, part of Universal Health Services (UHS), seeks an experienced Emergency Department RN to provide timely assessments and compassionate care in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting. You will work with a skilled team and advanced technology to support patient safety and family-centered care.

Requirements include one year of Emergency or Critical Care experience, California RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, NIHSS within the first week, and CPI certification within 90

Qualifications

• One (1) year Emergency or Critical Care experience in an acute care facility.
• Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA) certifications required.
• NIHSS required within first week (5 days) of hire.
• CEN encouraged.
• CPI certified within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• The Emergency Department RN performs assessments appropriate to the patient’s clinical presentation, care setting, age, development level, and cultural orientation in a timely manner.
• Performs assessments completely and accurately including physical, psychological, social status and other patient needs.
