Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital Inc. is seeking an Emergency Department RN to perform timely assessments tailored to each patient’s condition, age, and cultural needs. You will ensure accurate evaluations of pain, mobility, and safety while collaborating with the care team to deliver high-quality ED care.

Required: 1 year in Emergency/CCU, California RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS. NIHSS training within 5 days, CPI within 90 days. UHS system offers growth opportunities and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• One (1) year Emergency or Critical Care experience in an acute care facility.
• Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA) certifications required.
• NIHSS required within first week (5 days) of hire.
• CEN encouraged
• CPI certified within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments appropriate to the patient’s clinical presentation/diagnosis, care setting, age, development level, and cultural and religious orientation in a timely manner.
• Perform assessments completely and accurately including pain, skin breakdown, risk for falls, cognition and communication, and other patient needs.
