Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital Inc. is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse to perform timely assessments across patient presentations, ensuring safety and personalized care. The role requires CA RN licensure and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, with NIHSS training within the first week and CPI within 90 days.

Qualifications

• One year Emergency or Critical Care experience in an acute care facility.
• Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA) certifications required.
• NIHSS required within first week (5 days) of hire.
• CEN encouraged.
• CPI certified within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• The Emergency Department RN performs assessments appropriate to the patient’s presentation, care setting, age and cultural orientation in a timely manner.
• Performs assessments completely and accurately including pain, skin breakdown, fall risk, and other patient needs.
• Documents and communicates findings to the care team and participates in care planning.
