Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, is recruiting an Emergency Department Registered Nurse in Temecula, CA. The RN will perform patient assessments, support acute care, and contribute to high-quality, patient-centered care in a leading hospital.

The role requires 1 year of Emergency or Critical Care experience, California RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and NIHSS within 5 days of hire. CEN encouraged; CPI within 90 days.

Qualifications

• One (1) year Emergency or Critical Care experience in an acute care facility.
• Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA) certifications required.
• NIHSS required within first week (5 days) of hire.
• CEN encouraged
• CPI certified within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments appropriate to the patient’s clinical presentation/diagnosis, care setting, age, development level, and cultural and religious orientation in a timely manner.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments including physical, psychological, social status and other patient needs.
