Job summary

Qualifications

• One (1) year Emergency or Critical Care experience in an acute care facility.
• Registered Nurse with current California RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA) certifications required
• NIHSS required within first week (5 days) of hire
• CEN encouraged
• CPI certified within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• The Emergency Department Registered Nurse performs assessments appropriate to the patient’s clinical presentation/diagnosis, care setting, age, development level, and cultural and religious orientation in a timely manner.
• Performs assessments completely and accurately including, but not limited to, physical (pain, skin breakdown, falls risk), psych, social and other patient needs.
