Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital, part of Southwest Healthcare, seeks an experienced Emergency Department RN to perform timely assessments and deliver critical care in a fast-paced ED. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient safety and comfort.

The role requires 1 year of Emergency or Critical Care experience, a California RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS. NIHSS is needed within 5 days of hire; CPI certification within 90 days. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• One (1) year Emergency or Critical Care experience in an acute care facility.
• Active California RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification required within first week (5 days) of hire.
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire is expected.

Responsibilities

• The Emergency Department Registered Nurse performs assessments appropriate to the patient’s presentation, age, and setting in a timely manner.
• Conducts comprehensive physical, cognitive, and social assessments and documents findings.
• Administers care and interventions per clinical protocols and patient needs.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
