Job summary
Temecula Valley Hospital in Temecula, CA is seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. The RN assesses patients, prioritizes care, and collaborates with physicians and staff to deliver high-quality emergency services.
The ideal candidate has 1 year of emergency/critical care experience, holds a California RN license, and maintains BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. NIHSS training within 5 days of hire is required; CPI certification within 90 days is encouraged.
Qualifications
- One year Emergency or Critical Care experience in an acute care facility.
- Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA) certifications required.
- NIHSS required within first week of hire.
- CEN encouraged; CPI certified within 90 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments based on presentation, age, and cultural background.
- Document assessments and coordinate with the care team for timely interventions.
- Support safe and efficient emergency department operations.
