Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital in Temecula, CA, seeks an Emergency Department RN to provide timely assessments and care for patients across diverse presentations. You will perform comprehensive physical, cognitive, and social assessments aligned with age and development, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.

The role requires 1 year of ED/CCU experience, an active CA RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. NIHSS within 5 days is expected; CPI within 90 days.

Qualifications

• One (1) year Emergency or Critical Care experience in an acute care facility.
• Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA) certifications required.
• NIHSS required within first week (5 days) of hire.
• CEN encouraged.
• CPI certified within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• RN – Emergency Dept. performs assessments appropriate to the patient’s clinical presentation/diagnosis, care setting, age, development level, and cultural orientation in a timely manner.
• Performs comprehensive assessments including physical, psychological, social status and other patient needs.
