Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
• Two years of medical experience
• Registration experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Greets patient with a positive and professional attitude and initiates registration process.
• Selects the correct patient through entering required fields in the ADT system for accurate registration.
• Performs follow up on third party accounts; verify eligibility and benefits for ED and inpatient admissions.
• Collects Time of Service and payments according to policy; refer to Financial Counselor if needed.
• Participates in training and departmental meetings to enhance patient care and work performance.
• All bedside registrations use WOW or handheld devices; maintain patient safety.
