Job summary

You will drive performance through coaching, data-driven improvements, and collaboration with Baystate Health and Huron leadership to improve patient access and financial outcomes while ensuring regulatory compliance and EMTALA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent healthcare operations leadership experience.
• 1-3 years in a leadership capacity preferred; 5+ years in healthcare operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Direct Supervisory experience required.
• Patient Financial Services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily Emergency Department Patient Access operations, including registration and data capture.
• Monitor registration quality, throughput, financial clearance, productivity, and revenue cycle metrics.
• Lead, coach and develop Patient Access staff through performance management and training.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, and revenue cycle stakeholders to drive improvements.
• Ensure compliance with EMTALA, patient privacy, and organizational policies.
• Support staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet service levels.
• Partner with Baystate Health and Huron leadership on strategic initiatives.
