Job summary

Huron Consulting Group is seeking a PreAccess Manager to lead preservice operations in Springfield, MA. You will oversee front-end revenue cycle functions, ensure accurate registration, insurance verification, and financial clearance, and drive process improvements across the team.

As a key leader, you’ll coordinate with Baystate Health and Huron leadership to align with strategic initiatives, coach staff, and maintain high service standards in a 24/7 oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate PreAccess activities, ensuring timely registration, insurance verification, and financial clearance.
• Coordinate daily operational responsibilities with the PreAccess team to ensure efficient workflow and service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulatory requirements, and revenue cycle best practices.
• Monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and implement process improvements to reduce denials.
• Provide staff coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to foster accountability.
• Collaborate with Patient Access Managers, Baystate Health, and Huron leadership on escalated issues.
• Support staffing plans, schedule adherence, and second-shift coverage.
• Assist in onboarding, training and development of team members.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to initiatives aligned with objectives.
