Job summary

St Davids Emergency Center - Wells Branch seeks an experienced Nursing Manager to supervise daily ED operations, ensuring high-quality patient care and staffing efficiency. You will uphold evidence-based practices, drive staff development, and coordinate admissions/discharges for throughput.

The role requires a Texas RN license, BSN, and leadership experience. ACLS is preferred; BLS is required, with specialty certification to be obtained within 6 months.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Texas or holds an active compact license.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• 1+ year of healthcare experience and 1+ year of leadership experience.
• Specialty Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily unit/department operations to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Monitor nursing care delivery and ensure adherence to policies and standards.
• Lead admissions/discharges for efficient throughput and patient focus.
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and staff development.
