Job summary

St. David's Emergency Center – Anderson Mill is seeking a Nursing Manager to oversee daily operations, staffing, and quality of care. You will ensure adherence to standards, drive evidence-based practice, and lead a team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

The role requires BSN, a current RN license, and leadership experience with a focus on patient safety and outcomes. ACLS preferred; 1+ year leadership in healthcare is expected.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Specialty Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Licensed as RN in state of practice or active compact license; TX license within 60 days if needed.
• BLS required.
• ACLS preferred.
• 1+ year healthcare experience.
• 1+ year leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Create superior clinical identity by implementing evidence-based practices to improve patient safety and outcomes.
• Reduce variation in clinical practice; improve efficiency, accountability and transparency.
• Support achievement of benchmarks, accreditations and designations.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory standards.
• Ensure regular equipment maintenance per regulatory standards.
• Manage admissions and discharges for efficient throughput.
• Facilitate interdisciplinary care coordination across departments.
• Provide leadership for exceptional patient experience and interactions.
• Review feedback systems to identify opportunities to improve patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with leaders to foster teamwork and better outcomes.
• Identify training needs for individuals and teams.
