Job summary

Qualifications

• Two+ years using two-way radio, multi-line telephone, or CAD systems.
• Two+ years using computer systems for entering, updating, and retrieving information.
• Completion of 60 college credits or equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Handle emergency and non-emergency calls, assess needs, and identify appropriate responses.
• Relay incident details to Troopers and coordinate communication via radio, phone, and computer systems.
• Coordinate with police, fire, medical, and other agencies to share information and request assistance
• Access, update, and maintain incident and operational records using electronic systems
• Respond to public inquiries and assist station visitors with information or arrangements
• Participate in communications training and help train new operators on procedures and practices
