Advocate Health is seeking a dedicated Security Communications Dispatcher to support 24/7 emergency response from a centralized center in Charlotte. You will manage radio and phone calls, dispatch security personnel, document events, and transmit critical information to on-site teams and responders.

The role requires strong communication, quick decision-making, and the ability to prioritize emergencies while maintaining accurate CAD and database entries.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in dispatch or emergency communications preferred.
• Clear speaking voice and adherence to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch security personnel to scenes on request for prompt response.
• Document service requests and events in the Security Communications database.
• Confirm responses and appropriate actions were taken at the scene.
• Document that information was received and actions taken were recorded.
• Receive calls via radio channels or phone and follow all protocols.
• Transmit accurate information to personnel as needed.
• Prioritize emergency calls appropriately.
• Document emergencies in the Security Communications database.
• Monitor equipment panel abnormalities and ensure prompt response.
• Understand monitor panel purposes and restore systems to normal order.
• Monitor multiple alarm systems and dispatch appropriate agencies.
